  • A microchip is a permanent identification for your animal. The chip will stay within the animal for life.

  • Collars and/or tags can fall off or be removed.

  • If your pet is lost then found, the vet or ranger can identify the chips number and returned the pet to their rightful owner.

  • You'll be less stress knowing your pet is microchipped if lost.

Microchipping is the only way you can prove the ownership of the animal. If the cat or dog is stolen and a dispute arises over ownership of the animal, the microchip can identify who is registered as the owner.

It does happen - microchipping will return the animal to the rightful owner.

Why Microchip?

If you change address or telephone number, it is your responsibility to contact the appropriate registry to update your contact details. If you are not sure who your pet is registered with, you can find out at Pet Address
